Mr. Chinthaka Abeywickrama has indeed assumed the role of District Secretary of Ampara District on 10th July 2023, it means he will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions and development initiatives in the district. As the district secretary, he will work closely with government officials, local authorities, and community leaders to address the needs and concerns of the district's residents. His duties may include managing public services, implementing government policies, coordinating development projects, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the district administration.

It is indeed a significant occasion when individuals such as Additional District Secretary V. Mr. Jegadeesan, Assistant District Secretary Mr. Vimansa Senaviratne, Director of Samurdhi, Chief Accountant, Accountant, Head of Audit, Statistician, Acting Planning Director H. B.
